Yes. Every MadElephant piece is handcrafted in our workshop. Each creation is individually made with attention to detail with no factory production or mass manufacturing.
Where are you based? Do you ship internationally?
MadElephant is an independent artisan brand based in Ukraine.
We ship worldwide with tracked delivery, with the exception of Russia and Belarus. Delivery times vary depending on the destination and local customs processing.
How long does it take to make my order?
Every MadElephant piece is handcrafted individually rather than mass-produced. Production usually takes 5–7 business days, depending on the complexity of the design and the current order queue.
If you need your order by a specific date, feel free to contact me before purchasing.
Can I request custom sizing?
Yes. Many products can be made to your measurements. Please provide them when placing your order.
Can I request a custom design?
Possibly. If my schedule allows, I occasionally accept custom commissions. Feel free to contact me with your idea, and I'll let you know if it's possible.
Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?
Leather and PVC products are generally suitable for most people.
Chainmail pieces are handcrafted from nickel-plated steel rings. If you have a known sensitivity or allergy to nickel or other metals, I recommend wearing them over clothing rather than directly against your skin, especially during warm weather or prolonged wear.
Will the metal tarnish?
MadElephant pieces are made to last. The chainmail rings retain their finish for years with proper care. Some handcrafted metal details may naturally develop a light patina over time, which is considered a normal characteristic of artisanal metalwork.
This natural aging process is part of the unique character of handcrafted metalwork and does not affect the durability or functionality of the piece.
Do you accept returns?
Returns are accepted within the stated return period for unused items returned in their original condition, with the original tag attached and in the original MadElephant branded dust bag.
Custom-made or personalized pieces cannot be returned.
Once your return has been received and inspected, your refund will be processed to the original payment method. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
I will not cancel orders that are already in the process of being made.
